2004 Gewurztraminer
A clean, crisp dry white wine, tasting of spice and honey. It fills the glass with its bouquet, then fills the mouth. The generous fruit flavours carry hints of lychee, peach and honeysuckle. The palate is long. The wine complements a range of food dishes. It is starting to show the benefit of some bottle ageing

2005 Unwooded Chardonnay
Unencumbered by oak. Generous fruit, hints of peach and pear. A full and elegant dry wine drinking very well early but will certainly develop with bottle age, a characteristic of the Happy Valley area.
2005 Shiraz
Trophy for Best Wine in Show Myrtleford 2008; Gold Medal and Trophy also as best Shiraz in Show; 3 Stars and recommended Winestate Magazine.
Rich fruit from our 25 year old vines have allowed this big velvety wine to emerge.  It has matured for two years in small oak and is showing spearmint, spicy plum and prune qualities. A complex wine for full flavoured food, try it with a rabbit casserole.  Great drinking now or cellar for five years.

2005 Cabernet Sauvignon
4 ½ Stars and topped its class in Winestate Magazine NE Tasting Nov/Dec 2008. Won bronze medals at Australian Small Winemaker’s Show 2007 & 2008 & at Myrtleford Show 2007 & 2008.
This is a rich minty and chocolatey wine which has had two years in small oak barrels. A classic cool-climate cabernet sauvignon, this wine shows the effects of our hot summer days and clear, cool nights. Wonderful with char-grilled steak, it is ready for drinking, but will continue to age well for five to seven years.  A seriously good wine.

2006 Late Harvest Wine: ‘White Gold’
3 ½ Stars and topped class in Winestate tasting Nov/Dec 2008.
This luscious dessert wine is a mixture of 40% Gewürztraminer and 60% Chardonnay. Made from the super-ripe fruit we were able to grow in 2006, its smooth peach, vanilla and honey characteristics make it ideal for drinking with blue cheese or chocolate. It’s ready to drink it now, but if you can resist, it will continue to improve in bottle for five years or more.
